The seed pod is a form I keep returning to. A ripe seed on the verge of opening and spreading life anew.
The surface is dark and tactile, brown, with a streak of glossy ash that formed a glaze in the intense firing.
Just as in nature, the seed pod carries what matters most — that which carries all life forward.
The sculpture is a reminder of our persistent power, and rests on a round wooden stand, but can also be held in the hand to bring calm and comfort.
