This vase has a powerful, slender expression, caressed by fire and decorated with ash. The inside has a semi-matte green glaze that reaches slightly over the petals. The vase is 20 cm tall and about as wide at its widest point. It is fired in a wood-fired kiln known as a bourry box.

“The Flame’s Blade” – a vase created within the heart of the anagama kiln, where the flames caress the surface and the ash paints its own pattern. The petals around the opening are preserved in the ceramic like the memory of a forest fire. Every curve carries traces of the fire’s movement – unpredictable, alive, eternal.
