Description
Hand-thrown mug with a lovely feel in the hand, thrown in a small series where each piece has its own expression. The shape is simple and balanced, with a clear trace of craftsmanship left in the surface.
Decorated with several custom-blended glazes in blue and turquoise tones – colours that move softly across the surface and sometimes meet in transitions where the hues deepen or break up. The mug is fired in an electric kiln to 1260°C, giving a durable, hard-wearing surface with a subtle sheen.
Just as lovely for coffee as for tea.
